We are currently working on a “Native” overhaul that will be a complete rebuild/redesign of our Native iOS / Android app. This redesign will take full advantage of the iOS 7 UI components, increasing user engagement and social integration opportunities. As you can imagine, this is a large effort that touches every view in our product.

Our goal is to release this by the end of Quarter 1.

  Hey John, not immediately but potentially in the future. We’d love to enable it right away but there are many legal issues around mobile MLS listings and patents. So once our legal team concludes we are not infringing any patents we will develop for this, but I cannot provide a time frame for this. Thanks for the feedback!

    Will the real estate feature have an HTML source code feature for any possible customizations? Also would be cool to add something similar like the Real Estate feature but for local deals like a daily deal map where I can select business location and use the current coupon or purchase deal offer that may interest customers. Just an idea. Also would be cool if we can customize our own pin drops as an option too.

Will the real estate tab allow us to categorize property’s for easier viewing on the map? It would work similar to what is currently available on around us tab. For instance, for sale, for rent, sold.
Or even better, giving the user a choice of each category before going to the map. Any categorization options??? Please say yes

Super stoked about the real estate tab, can’t wait!!
A couple of suggested features/modifications though.
I did this mock-up to experiment with the sub-page on the homepage(very cool feature, btw).
The birds are links to features, but I was thinking it would open up worlds of possibilities if we had the ability to move the buttons to the place of our choosing.(maybe on a grid system)
Another thing that would go perfectly with that is the ability to remove the row of buttons. This would allow for a great amount of variation in our apps.
The one and only complaint I ever hear from clients(both current and prospective) is that most of our apps look very similar. This would fix that and increase the value of the app and allow us to take in larger set-up fees.
Just a thought, hopefully you guys can do something with it!

Some nice improvements, but how about some other long-needed features such as:
-Landscape mode for photos & video
-The ability to pick from individual event features (ie, right now you can go with the “basic” event, which only includes the title/description, or the “advanced” event, which includes image header, comments, RSVP & photo gallery. Some of my clients like having some of these features but not others; it’d be nice to be able to turn each one on/off per event or at least per calendar tab.
-The WYSIWYG text editor appears to be based on an extremely outdated version of CKEditor (or possibly TinyMCE?)…any chance of updating it to a newer version?
-Are there any plans for some sort of API/Module integration with Drupal, WordPress or Joomla? For instance, the blog/RSS feed function imports the entry titles and initial text, but can’t display different thumbnail photos per entry, and you have to click through to the actual website display itself to read the full entries.

  1. Landscape will be available within our next update.
  2. We have some really nice updates coming to the events tab as well. Please note we also have an events v1 tab (basic) and events v2 tab (advanced) for those that may want less or more functionality.

    At the risk of overplaying my hand, here’s a few others:
    -The ability to set/save the default font family & size for the text editor so I don’t have to reset it every time I go in to create or edit an entry (for both info tabs as well as events, etc)
    -The ability to choose between military (24-hour) and 12-hour time mode for events (and ideally to save that setting)
    -The ability to place one type of sub-tab within another one (for instance, adding a PDF tab to several Web Page tabs, etc); this is done in a limited way in “More Button” mode, but it’d be nice to be able to do so in other layouts as well.

Here is a functionality request. Is it possible for the app to show when they are booked? eg: a villa, hairdresser, personal trainer could log on the app and show when they are booked so that you don’t get duplicated reservations?

kindly i have an issue and i raise it from 3 months without any solution.
my issue with the advanced messages for android, i update some off my apps with the latest apk which have the offline content. if these Apps are closed and i send an advanced message they will not receive, they will only receive an error message
the Apps that i did not update the apk for them, they are receiving the advanced messages if the App is opened or closed.
please solve, i raise it without any solution

  Yes, clients want the ability to allow Facebook Check-Ins directly from their Apps. How can we do this ?

Hi, the sharing feature on the GPS and QR coupon tabs currently posts the message to facebook and twitter “I just redeemed [coupon] using app” when the user only Checked-In and not Redeemed yet. When user Check-In to business, we would like the post message to say “I just checked-in to earn [coupon] using app” when user clicks on Check-In button.
Having a facebook and twitter wall with so many Redeem posts each day is confusing to the user since they ask the business owners where is their reward. We’re not able to activate the GPS Coupon feature because of this issue and the business owners want the app specifically for this feature and the sharing function because it’ll get the users opening the app each day. The business owners have conditioned their users to share on facebook to get their reward.
Can the verbiage on the sharing function be fixed by or before the next release? Thank you.

I am really excited for these updates and to see Bizness Apps progressing with their goal to be the #1 platform is truly beneficial for us all. However, I have 2 questions.
1) Will our current apps be automatically updated to the new UI/design? Or what will that process be like ?
2) I have an app I built for a radio station and a lot of iPhone users are complaining that the each time the screen fades or they leave the App, then the live radio stream shuts off. It’s not like this on Android, just Apple. Does BiznessApps have any plans to resolve this issue on iPhone ?

I would like to request a new loyalty tab - I understand we have 3, but 2 of them can easily be gamed and the qr code - unless you want someone scanning 3 or 4 codes at a time limits your ability to have more then 1 reward at one location. The system would work as followed - Create a QR Code - Each scan gives you a predetermined amount of points (allowed to be merchant determined) then there a list of rewards - 10 to unlock free drink - 20 to unlock free dinner and so on. When a customer looks to redeem, the manager must enter a code or tell it to them - simply so they dont hit the redeem button and loose the coupon (like the qr code now - where if they do by accident or not understanding how it works will void it if an employee is not there to see it happen) - the points would then deduct accordingly.
Add this feature with this layout would be a direct competition to SpotOn - 8000 national clients - Belly - “loyalty card scanning system in 500 locations. Belly said those chains collectively represent 40,000 restaurants and stores nationwide,…….” - These system typically cost 75-150$ per month for this system while they control the environment. I would be also open to personally investing to make this happen or to know if there is a collective interest to contribute to a loyalty program that would further our domination in this sector. Thanks - just one man’s opinion

Love you all! Great updates! Some questions in regards to loyalty since I see the changes to the loyalty card and qr above.
My clients have been asking for a way to track the loyalty, opened push notifications and R.O.I.
QR Code - Tracking (how many times scanned, location, time any other data…etc)
Punch Card - How many times a card have been “stamped” & “redeemed”
GPS Checkin - How many times has someone checked in using the app
Push Notifications - How many times an offer or “template” has been opened compared to how many people received.
R.O.I. - I completely understand we can not track what a customer purchases. But believe we could track # of people that came in from a push notification or how many times someone scanned a qr code or punched a loyalty card (ultimately bringing the customer in to spend money). Asking a business to track this is difficult depending on the size.. If we instead had a tool or report to generate and share with a business….and show them how to test and improve…would be vital to businesses success.
ROI =
X Average customer purchase (Business Revenue)
X response rate (How many Customers came in - direct result of loyalty/push)
X monthly cost (Business cost)
They would only really need to know from us a response rate….
